Impexium Client Training Specialist

Location: McLean, VA

The Role: This position involves maintaining, implementing, and improving a comprehensive training program for Impexium’s Association Management System (AMS). As part of a team, the Training Specialist assists with enacting a training plan for clients during the implementation process, providing supplemental training to current users, and innovating ways to improve client training. Excellent project management, customer relationship, and written communication skills are required.

What you will do:

  • Lead and evaluate training programs aligned to course curriculum design and Learning Management System capability
  • Create teaching tools and materials
  • Train clients migrating to Impexium onsite and online. Expected volume is approximately 2 training sessions per day of 1-2 hours per session.
  • Train new hires joining the team on the Impexium application
  • Work closely with project managers and clients and be a champion for agile-focused, innovative change management.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Assist with training documentation and other related duties as assigned

Director of Sales

Location: McLean, VA

The Role: The ideal candidate for the Director of Enterprise Sales role at Impexium is a self-starter with a consultative approach, strong technical aptitude, a track record of successful software of SaaS sales and quota achievement, and a broad and deep toolset that encompasses the entire sales cycle.  The Director of Enterprise Sales will work with the Growth Team to prospect leads, organize sales meetings, lead the sales process through to closed sales, and will be responsible to achieve quarterly quotas of closed business.  Impexium offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided the tools, resources and outstanding leadership to sell business application solutions.

What you will do:

  • Execute on the sales strategy for Impexium Enterprise solution opportunities focused on targeted prospects in the – Association market.
  • Give solution presentations that are focused on solving prospects needs and will motivate them to buy.
  • Deliver strong sales strategy ability, crafting and presenting client proposals, and helping the team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale.
  • Work with Marketing to aggressively generate new relationships within the assigned accounts and territories.
  • Achieve quarterly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in the Impexium Association Management Solution (AMS).
  • Document and track all activity through web-based SalesForce automation tools including detailed activity reports, setting tasks for follow-up, opportunity tracking and probability statistics.
  • Assist in organizing and managing sales meetings and trade shows
  • Help sales department in drafting contracts/documents as well as supporting other various sales and marketing activities
  • Collaborate and partner with other departments such as Marketing, Solution Consulting and more
  • Other responsibilities as developed by senior Growth Team leadership.

Customer Support Specialist

Location: McLean, VA

The Role: A growing software company is seeking a qualified and experienced client support representative. This position involves working with clients to resolve any issues they have using our software and answering any questions they have. Customers contact us via phone, support tracking portal and e-mail so excellent phone and written communication skills are required.

What you will do:

  • Handles customer service inquiries via the telephone, email, and case management within ticketing system.
  • Provides immediate assistance to customers as requested.
  • Maintains a method to document, track and research customer input while maintaining such processes within SharePoint.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you will need:

  • 1-3+ years relevant experience in SaaS solution support a plus.
  • Experience and familiarity of our products and line of business a plus.
  • Experience with MS SQL a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with ticketing system a plus.
  • Experience with Associations or Non-Profit a plus but not required.

Working conditions: Position requires a variable 8 hour shift between 8am to 6:30pm business hours at Impexium headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA from Monday through Friday.

Technical Service Analyst

Location: McLean, VA

The Role: As a Technical Services Analyst at Impexium, you will design and develop custom solutions and configurations for our customers. These include reports, dashboards, web pages, API workflows and business analytics. You will also assist in supporting client set-up and usage of integrations with the Impexium solution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as the role works very closely with our software development, implementation, and client experience teams as well as clients directly.  You will utilize the latest tools/technologies to deliver solutions used by thousands of organizations. 

What you will do:

  • Understand client requirements and how they translate to the Impexium solution.
  • Develop low code / no code / workflow solutions to automate existing or new processes
  • Responsible for analyzing complex business problems and issues to provide insight and solutions to decision makers.
  • Meet with customers to understand and document requirements
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Design, develop, and enhance solutions for clients and internal teams.
  • Work with the Clients importing data and ensuring high quality data in the system
  • Analyzing and improving current system integrations and migration strategies.
  • Identify, debug, and advise on system errors or API issues.
  • Assist with the management of organizational databases and retrieval systems.
  • Integrate our solutions with partner systems using a variety of protocols
  • Continuous improvement to processes and practices with new ideas, concepts, methods and technologies
  • Work with the Infrastructure team to ensure that BI systems meet business requirements for availability, integrity and security.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, tools and applications applicable to Business Intelligence.
  • Handle periodic on-call duty and out-of-band requests

What does remote + aligned office mean?

  • U.S. locations – all positions currently have the flexibility to work full-time remote due to COVID, as well as a hybrid option if the guidelines in that state are allowing an in person office presence.  Currently we have offices in 3 locations:  1) McLean, VA, 2) Troy, MI and 3) Torrance, CA.  Each position is aligned to an office.  If you are interested is a specific position aligned to an office location and would like to inquire about the possibility of in person or hybrid presence in a different office location for that role, speak to your recruiter to understand flexibility for your role.
  • Latin America & Colombia all positions in Colombia are remote only at this time

How does assignment to an office location work?

If you are aligned to a specific office location, you will be aligned to that office’s events and meetings. For the most part, we will expect remote team members to be able to come in for occasional meetings and events.

What hybrid + remote options are available?

We offer everyday flexibility so you can shape your schedule and be present for the things that matter to you in work and in life. For example, hybrid office-based team members can spend a flexible amount of days per week working remotely based on a schedule they work out with their leader.  Some roles require more in person time than others, but all positions offer flexible options.  We also offer the option for many positions to work remotely full time.
