Report Developer

Location: Remote + McLean, VA

The Role: The Report Developer is responsible for clarifying requirements, building, and maintaining business information reports, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Reporting Services. Detailed responsibilities include creating stored procedures, complex joins, and manipulating data within SSRS for client-specific reporting requirements.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as the role works very closely with our software development, project management, and client experience teams as well as clients directly.

What you will do:

  • As part of our Reporting COE (Center of Excellence) team, you will collaborate across business units on reporting, data warehouse, and business analytics.
  • SSRS Reports Development including requirements collection and translation.
  • SQL coding for creation of Stored Procedures from scratch, views, functions, etc. as well as modifications and improvements to existing SPs.
  • Create stored procedures, complex joins, and manipulating data within SSRS for client-specific reporting requirements.  Works directly with project implementations, support and client success teams.
  • Query creation providing ad hoc reports, analysis, and datasets based on business needs.
  • Entity relationship (ER) diagram creation displaying joins based on primary keys.
  • Create dashboards and interactive visual reports.
  • Research discrepancies between report output and end user expectations.
  • Assist in supporting and maintaining data repositories.

Customer Support Specialist

Location: Remote + McLean, VA

Job Summary: A growing software company is seeking a qualified and experienced client support representative. This position involves working with clients to resolve any issues they have using our software and answering any questions they have. Customers contact us via phone, support tracking portal and e-mail so excellent phone and written communication skills are required.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Handles customer service inquiries via the telephone, email, and case management within ticketing system.
  • Provides immediate assistance to customers as requested.
  • Maintains a method to document, track and research customer input while maintaining such processes within SharePoint.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Solution Consultant & Sales Engineer

Location: Remote + McLean, VA

The Role: The role of the Solutions Consultants (i.e. Sales Engineer) is to be the primary technical resource for Impexium’s client acquisition team (i.e. sales).. As a Sales Engineer, you are the key technical advisor and product advocate responsible for driving technology evaluations and supporting our new client acquisition efforts.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for development and delivery of high-quality presentations and product demonstrations on site, remotely, and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Advocate and evangelize Impexium value propositions and technical capabilities with current and potential clients
  • Participate in enterprise-wide consultations with clients to gather process, workflow, and reporting insights to craft alignment and provide recommendations between the needs of a broad range of client constituents with varying roles and Impexium’s platform capabilities
  • Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs / RFPs
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively convey client requirements to Product Management and R&D teams to enhance / refine Impexium’s platform
  • Ability to synthesize data; prepare product and market analyses by aggregating, analyzing, and identifying trends
  • Maintain industry and competitive insight to bolster your reputation as a well-informed, trusted advisor
  • Ability to create and maintain ongoing client relationships

Director of Enterprise Sales

Location: Remote + McLean, VA

The Role: The ideal candidate for the Director of Enterprise Sales role at Impexium is a self-starter with a consultative approach, strong technical aptitude, a track record of successful software of SaaS sales and quota achievement, and a broad and deep toolset that encompasses the entire sales cycle. The Director of Enterprise Sales will work with the Growth Team to prospect leads, organize sales meetings, lead the sales process through to closed sales, and will be responsible to achieve quarterly quotas of closed business. Impexium offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided the tools, resources and outstanding leadership to sell business application solutions. This role is based in McLean, VA.

What you will do:

  • Execute on the sales strategy for Impexium Enterprise solution opportunities focused on targeted prospects in the Association market.
  • Give solution presentations that are focused on solving prospects needs and will motivate them to buy.
  • Deliver strong sales strategy ability, crafting and presenting client proposals, and helping the team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale.
  • Work with Marketing to aggressively generate new relationships within the assigned accounts and territories.
  • Achieve quarterly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in the Impexium Association Management Solution (AMS).
  • Document and track all activity through web-based SalesForce automation tools including detailed activity reports, setting tasks for follow-up, opportunity tracking and probability statistics.
  • Assist in organizing and managing sales meetings and trade shows
  • Help sales department in drafting contracts/documents as well as supporting other various sales and marketing activities
  • Collaborate and partner with other departments such as Marketing, Solution Consulting and more

Training Specialist

Location: Remote + McLean, VA

The Role: This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive training program for Impexium’s Association Management System (AMS). As part of a team, the Training Specialist assists with creating a training plan for clients during the implementation process as well as providing supplemental training to current users.  Excellent project management, customer relationship, and written communication skills are required.

What you will do:

  • Develop, conduct, and evaluate training programs aligned to course curriculum design and Learning Management System capability
  • Create teaching tools and materials

What does remote + aligned office mean?

  • U.S. locations – all positions currently have the flexibility to work full-time remote due to COVID, as well as a hybrid option if the guidelines in that state are allowing an in person office presence.  Currently we have offices in 3 locations:  1) McLean, VA, 2) Troy, MI and 3) Torrance, CA.  Each position is aligned to an office.  If you are interested is a specific position aligned to an office location and would like to inquire about the possibility of in person or hybrid presence in a different office location for that role, speak to your recruiter to understand flexibility for your role.
  • Latin America & Colombia all positions in Colombia are remote only at this time

How does assignment to an office location work?

If you are aligned to a specific office location, you will be aligned to that office’s events and meetings. For the most part, we will expect remote team members to be able to come in for occasional meetings and events.

What hybrid + remote options are available?

We offer everyday flexibility so you can shape your schedule and be present for the things that matter to you in work and in life. For example, hybrid office-based team members can spend a flexible amount of days per week working remotely based on a schedule they work out with their leader.  Some roles require more in person time than others, but all positions offer flexible options.  We also offer the option for many positions to work remotely full time.
