Director, Client Experience

Job Purpose:
Impexium, a growing software company, is seeking an experienced individual to lead the charge in taking client experience to the next level. We want someone who shares our passion for clients and has a “client-first” focus. As the Director, Client Experience you will be responsible for the continuous improvement and evolution of the Client Experience strategy, processes, and communications. You will gather customer feedback by talking to clients directly, conducting client satisfaction surveys, and analyzing feedback from client support, consulting, training, account management and sales teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned employees, including hiring, evaluating, training, performance management, motivating, coaching, and developing goals and procedures to ensure the achievement of targets.
  • Ensure client retention, loyalty, and continued opportunities with excellent client service achieved through proactive client contact, prompt and accurate responses, high energy and enthusiasm.
  • Proactively work with client support and consulting teams to develop at-risk client programs.
  • Manage launch and ongoing success of client advocate program including but not limited to cultivating a growing library of reference accounts, case studies, testimonials, and public speaking opportunities to assist with Impexium brand and growth initiatives.
  • Provide oversight and governance for the client support team for performance and service level agreements (SLAs) within client agreements.
  • Develop strategic plan and approach to initially launch and then define + measure the success of client online community management.
  • Track and report client usage of Impexium Apps and partner Apps to better define product strengths, functionality gaps and competitive positioning/differentiators.
  • Refine existing training strategy and approach with the training team ensuring both internal and external knowledgebase resources are complete and accurate.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in completing deliverables and knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding client base. Must possess strong analytical skills and be capable of interpreting and communicating client requests and solutions. The ability to manage multiple projects and influence organizational change on behalf of clients is key for success.

Qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years’ experience with direct client engagements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong practical experience creating and executing client programs, NPS, and win/loss analysis.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Desk.com platforms a plus.
  • Experience with Zoomdata or other business intelligence platform a plus.
  • Experience with Associations or Non-Profit a plus but not required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: BA/BS required in Communications, Business, Technology or related field.

 

Working conditions:
Position requires traditional (9am to 6pm) business hours at Impexium headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA from Monday through Friday.

Report and Business Intelligence Developer

Job Purpose:
The Report and Business Intelligence Developer is a specialist role within Impexium's Professional Services Group. The primary duties include SSRS development and Business Intelligence engineering (client self-service analytics configuration and setup). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as the role works very closely with our software development, project management, and client experience teams as well as clients directly.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with customers to gather and document requirements for reporting, business intelligence, programming and analytical needs.
  • Reviews and modifies new and existing stored procedures to enhance performance while learning from and sharing knowledge with others.
  • Creates queries to provide ad hoc reports, analysis, and datasets based on business needs.
  • Provides design support for the development of business intelligence solutions
  • Develops visually informative dashboards and customized reports based on business requirements.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong analytical thought process and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails and internal ticketing solution.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar or related function.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) required.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2008-2016.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.
  • General understanding of object oriented software architecture, design, and implementation.
  • General understanding of programming techniques and practices.
  • Experience with Zoomdata a plus.
  • Associations and nonprofit involvement a plus.

 

Working conditions:
Role may require weekend travel and the ability to work non-traditional (9 am to 5 pm) business hours, including weekends.

Project Manager

Job Purpose:
This position involves working with clients and the internal technical team during software implementation to assist in requirements definition, system configuration, track project progress, and assess and mitigate risk throughout. Excellent phone and written communication skills are required.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders
  • Ensure that all project hours are tracked in accordance with the company policy while including hourly & total tracking towards estimated hours in progress reports.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
  • Ensure that customer accepts the proposed implementation and the actual implementation.
  • Identify functionality that is necessary for implementation that may not be available and schedule with internal company resources to ensure functionality is ready.

Qualifications
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in project management and knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong organization skills and be able to communicate professionally in written correspondence and verbal exchanges. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

Qualifications include:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP, PfMP, or PgMP) certification.
  • Experience implementing web-based SaaS software.
  • Experience with MS SQL, associations or non-profit management software is highly desirable, but not required.
  • Experience in the Association workspace is helpful.

Working conditions
Position requires traditional (9am to 6pm) business hours at Impexium headquarters (Tysons Corner, VA) with travel required for client system requirements gathering, business analysis sessions, and potential go-live onsite visits. Estimate time spent traveling is 10-20%.

Customer Support Specialist

Job Purpose:
A growing software company is seeking a qualified and experienced customer support specialist.

This position involves working with clients to resolve any issues they have using our software and answering any questions they have. Customers contact us via phone, support tracking portal and e-mail so excellent phone and written communication skills are required. The successful applicant will also have experience supporting web-based software. Experience with MS SQL, Associations or non-profits management software is a plus, but not required.

Additional duties include coordinating the on boarding of new clients and working closely with those clients as they get up and running. We are constantly adding new features to the software, so you'll need to be able to learn quickly and support a growing list of features.

Software Developer

Job Description: Analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, enhancement and support company's Association Management Software (AMS) and Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) products for associations and non-profits aligned with their business and administrative needs.

  • Work with the R&D Product Manager to develop site concepts, application functionality, business practices, interface design and site architecture.
  • Participate in system design, product development, and customer implementation support for web-based CRM solution targeting member organizations.
  • Author technical design documentation that fully defines all application code and the underlying methodology for the design decisions made.
  • Develop advanced applications, including database driven applications to deliver personalized and dynamic content.
  • Perform data modeling to design logical data model and implement it in Microsoft SQL Server database management system.
  • Develop complex database queries, stored procedures, triggers, T-SQL statements and user-defined functions of varying complexity with a "best practices" approach to keys, indices and relationships in SQL Server 2014.
  • Create efficient, scalable, reusable middle tier logic using any of .NET, Classic ASP, XML, C#, and other languages as needed. Create intuitive, logical, and dynamic user interfaces using HTML5, DHTML, JavaScript, XSL, EXT Java Script and AJAX.
  • Manage Windows 2008 Server, IIS, CSS3, COM+ and SQL Server 2014 with regards to administration and performance tuning.
  • Assist and/or perform the design development and maintenance of system software.
  • Perform product development within scheduled timeframe and based on system specification.

Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Info Systems or a closely related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst or and job involving web-based software development. Experience must include use of Microsoft.NET framework, Visual Basic.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML 5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
